CONTRACTOR

Jack Morton Chicago

The Hancock Tower

Absolutely one of the best clients I’ve ever had. My time at Jack Morton was truly enjoyable. They were a fantastic client, they gave me challenging assignments, and they paid really well. I was technically employed by the company, but they farmed me out to their very high-profile clients as a contractor. I gained a wealth of experience doing work that really grew me as a designer, especially the time I spent working with ad agencies.

Clients I Serviced

GRAPHIC/WEB DESIGNER: As a contractor for their OgilvyOne eCommerce division, I worked designing banner graphics for their clients. I also participated in web design and development projects for TD Ameritrade, and Dynegy, an energy commodities trader.

GRAPHIC/WEB DESIGNER: This was bad. The company was in the middle of a big campaign for Coors when one of their designers was killed in a car accident. I was contracted to take his place and help finish the site design.

GRAPHIC/WEB DESIGNER: I didn’t get to work for them very long, but it was great because they have one of the coolest buildings in Chicago. And they gave me the opportunity to work on design projects for a hugely important client of theirs, Proctor & Gamble.
